Nippon Paint recognises that education is the key to economic and social success and recognises the innate potential within each spatial designer to shape the world for the better. As such, they support programmes such as AYDA to nurture future generations of talent in the interior design and architectural space.
As part of this commitment, the AYDA Designers of the Year are awarded a fully sponsored three-week Design Discovery Program at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design in Boston, USA, where they gain exposure to world-class design education, global perspectives, and industry networks.
Nippon Paint also provides students with the funds they need to pursue their education at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design through the Gennosuke Obata Fellowship Fund. As believers in long-term collaborations, Nippon Paint is connected to Harvard University's GSD alumni around the world, fostering continued collaboration between Harvard University's GSD and AYDA while strengthening opportunities for future generations of designers.
