Mena Wasti Ahmed

Mena Wasti Ahmed is a recent student at the Harvard Graduate School of Design class of 2021, where she earned dual degrees in Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Passionate about student advocacy, Mena served as president of the GSD Student body twice. She earned a B.A. in architecture and visual arts from Bennington College, where she focused on painting and printmaking. Mena has worked in New York, New Orleans, and Karachi, Pakistan Prior to attending the GSD, Mena taught a class about design in the public realm at Habib University entitled Urban intervention. Mena is currently working as a researcher for Niall Kirkwood at the GSD where she is conducting research on the Tar Creek brownfield site.
