Founder, Cameron Woo Design (CWD)
Cameron Woo is a highly awarded and acclaimed Interior Designer born in Papua New Guinea and of Australian Chinese heritage descent. His early appreciation for Design and Architecture came from living on his parent’s tropical plantation in the South Pacific near the beach. Cameron attended the renowned Faculty of Design Architecture & Building at the University of Technology, Sydney and after working for and collaborating with some of Australia’s most celebrated architects and interior designers, he founded his own practice, Cameron Woo Design (CWD), in 2000.
In 2005, he decided to expand into Asia by establishing an office in Singapore in response to the burgeoning demand for design and lifestyle services. Woo’s mandate from clients is clear: to create desire. His approach to design is to integrate the entire environment into a unique lifestyle experience appropriate to the place and to his clients’ shared vision. Although his firm’s celebrated portfolio of projects are as diverse as the countries and cultures it works in, every project is injected with a desirability factor that is keenly sought after internationally.
In November 2017, Cameron was elected as the President of the Interior Design Confederation Singapore (IDCS).

The AYDA Awards is part of Nippon Paint’s vision to nurture the next generation of Architectural and Interior Design talents. It serves as a platform to inspire students of these disciplines to develop their skills through cross-learning.
