Kiran Kapadia is a distinguished architect and urban designer with a Bachelor's degree from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University, USA. In 1991, he founded Kapadia Associates, which has grown into one of India’s leading architectural firms, boasting a team of 130 professionals. The firm is renowned for its diverse projects and numerous professional awards.
Kiran is deeply committed to academia, having served as visiting faculty at various esteemed institutions, including CEPT, Kamla Raheja Institute of Architecture, and Academy of Architecture in Mumbai. He has also been a member of the Academic Council at the School of Environment and Architecture (SEA), Mumbai.
Beyond his professional achievements, Kiran is a passionate marathon runner. He earned the prestigious Six Star Medal in 2021 for completing the six World Marathon Majors: Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York. Remarkably, he qualified for and ran the Boston Marathon for three consecutive years (2021, 2022, and 2023).
